Such a great show with Alesso last night with the Keyflow launch. We watched the concert from the friends and family area, and it was a spectacular show, especially the lights were incredible.
So happy to have been a part of this launch, and really impressed by the guys at keyflow. If you haven’t done it yet – download the app and have a look yourself. It’s really the key to a great nightlife, no matter what city you’re in.

As probably all of you know by now – I’m addicted to music, and  I basicly listen to music 24/7. I also think it’s really cool to look at the connection between an artists style and music, and tonight I’m going to a concert with Skambankt, so I thought I would have a chat with one of the guys and see what he thinks about his expression through his style.

Terje told me that the clothing style in the band has changed a lot since they started back in 2004 with a more authoritarian style. These days, they’ve let more go of that, and have a more loose style within certain boundaries. You’ll often see the guys wearing black, and Terje concludes that “everyone looks good in black, it’s timeless.“. He tells me they’re not uptight in any way when it comes to styling, and he continues saying “You don’t need more than 5 minutes getting ready for the stage”.

We continued chatting about who’s been his sources to inspiration, and when it comes to his music,  his inspiration has come from bands like Ramones and Sex Pistols – bands playing music that you can actually learn how to play yourself when you’re 14 and don’t know how to play.
He feels like by now they’ve already achieved pretty much everything possible, but he tells me the best album is yet to come, and they’ll keep up the high level of their music.

Tonight Skambankt is playing at Parkteatret in Oslo, and I’m really excited for a great concert. This concert is part of the “Yngling” program, which is a lot of concerts with no age limit and cheap tickets, so it’s easier for youths to go to concerts from time to time. Great concept, maybe I’ll see you there?

The new year is fully here, so I figured I should gather all my old music in one playlist. 12 hours of popular songs we’ve all heard, dating back to the year of 2000. Feel free to comment if you think any other songs should be in the list!

Ron Pope – Atlanta. Such a talented artist, and a beautiful video. Take a four minute break to simply enjoy.

Så nå er endelig intervjuene fra EMA oppe. Utrolig kult å se det igjen, selvom det er fælt å høre sin egen stemme, men vi hadde en fantastisk kveld! Hvem av disse ville du helst intervjuet?

So now the interviews from EMA are finally ready! Really cool to see it again, even though it’s horrifying to hear my own voice on tape haha, but we had an incredible night. Who of these would you most like to interview?

Number 7: Nicki Minaj performing Anaconda. This girl knows how to steal the show!IMG_1065

Number 6: The second Enrique Iglesias entered the stage with I’m a Freak – completely took me by storm.

Number 5: Ariana Grande’s opening of the show. Incredible dancing, and one of the best female singers I know. What a show!

Number 4: Huge congrats to Ariana who got to go home with two awards – Best Female and Best song!

Number 3: U2, what a band. I sat in my chair and fell in love with Bono’s voice – 3 minutes in heaven.

Number 2: Slash – I probably don’t need to say anymore. I had been waiting for Slash the entire show, and I was not disappointed. The perfect final act, and guitar solos which are out of this world.

Number 1: Ozzy Osbourne receiving the Global Icon award. I can’t think of anyone who deserves this award than the legend Ozzy.

The show yesterday was incredible. Nicki Minaj surprised me by being an incredible host, and the vibe was on top throughout the show. For me, as a rocklover, the top highlights were definitely U2 and Slash. I was literally close to cry when Slash gave Ozzy his award for Global Icon – nobody could deserve it more. This year MTV managed to pull off the perfect combination of the top pop artists and the legends of rock. I’m already dreaming of going to the EMA again next year, so I’m crossing my fingers!
What was your favorite part of yesterdays show?
